Effective date: September 28, 2026
These terms apply when you book or ride with Carina Ride, a private chauffeur and limousine service based in SeaTac, Washington. By booking on our website, in our app, by phone or by email, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time. A booking that is already confirmed keeps the price you were quoted.
1. Washington limousine service
- We provide prearranged limousine service under Washington's limousine laws (chapter 46.72A RCW and chapter 308-83 WAC). The State of Washington regulates limousine service. The Port of Seattle sets the rules for pickups at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and the cruise terminals, and the City of Seattle can enforce the state rules.
- Every ride must be booked in advance. State rules require at least 15 minutes' notice, and our chauffeurs never pick up anyone who has not booked with us. Your chauffeur carries a passenger manifest with the booking name, phone number, pickup, destination and payment status.
- As Washington requires, each chauffeur holds a valid Washington driver license and has passed a Washington State Patrol criminal background check, a defensive driving course, a U.S. Department of Transportation medical exam and drug testing, and takes part in a random drug testing program.
- Our vehicles are inspected to Washington State Patrol standards and insured as state law requires for limousine carriers.
- Your receipt shows our business name, UBI number and phone number, your chauffeur's name, all fees charged, and the pickup and drop-off date, time and location.
2. Booking
- We ask for at least 3 hours' notice for online bookings. For a sooner pickup, call (206) 319-9196 to check availability.
- Please give us accurate details: the passenger's name and mobile number, pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, flight or cruise details, number of passengers and bags, and any special requests.
- Choose a vehicle that fits your group and luggage. We cannot carry more passengers than the vehicle has seat belts for, or luggage that will not fit safely.
- Allow enough time for airline or cruise check-in and for traffic. We are not responsible for a missed flight or sailing if the pickup time you booked did not allow enough time, or if passengers were not ready at the pickup time.
3. Prices and payment
- You see your fare, any taxes and the total before you book. Pickups between midnight and 4 am include an overnight surcharge, which is already in your quote.
- Changes you ask for after booking or during the ride, such as extra stops, a different route, extra waiting time or going over your hourly package, are charged at our current rates.
- Gratuity is included in your price.
- We accept card payments and cash.
4. Hourly service
- Hourly service is booked in packages of 3 to 10 hours, each with a set number of miles included.
- Your time starts at your scheduled pickup time. Your chauffeur waits for you between stops.
- Time or miles beyond your package are charged at our current rates.
5. Airport pickups at SEA
- We track your flight and adjust your pickup to the time it actually lands.
- Waiting is free for 45 minutes after your flight lands. After that, waiting charges apply, so please allow for baggage claim.
- Following Port of Seattle rules, we pick you up at the arrivals curb on the lower drive. Your chauffeur will contact you after you land.
- If we cannot reach you within 90 minutes after your flight lands, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refunded.
6. Cruise pickups at Pier 66 and Pier 91
- Tell us your ship and when you expect to leave the ship.
- We pick up and drop off in the areas the Port of Seattle sets for prearranged vehicles. Your chauffeur will tell you where to meet.
7. Cancellations and no-shows
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your pickup time for a full refund.
- Later cancellations may be charged. If your chauffeur has already been dispatched, we charge for the time and distance already driven.
- If you are not at the pickup and we cannot reach you, the ride may be charged in full.
8. Safety and passenger conduct
- Seat belts: Washington law requires everyone 16 and older to wear a seat belt, and we ask every passenger to buckle up.
- Children and car seats: every child counts as a passenger. Any age car seats are available upon request, so tell us each child's age and size when you book. Washington's child car seat law does not cover vehicles for hire, but we strongly recommend the right seat for every child who needs one. You are welcome to bring your own. A parent or guardian must make sure the seat is fitted correctly and the child is buckled in.
- Service animals are always welcome, as the Americans with Disabilities Act requires. Please ask before bringing a pet, and tell us about any accessibility needs when you book.
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol and drugs are not allowed in our vehicles. Please do not eat or drink anything other than water in the vehicle.
- We may refuse or end a ride, without a refund, if a passenger is intoxicated, abusive or violent, or puts the chauffeur, the vehicle or other people at risk. The person who booked is responsible for the behavior of everyone in their group.
- If the vehicle is soiled or damaged by a passenger, we will charge the cost of cleaning or repair.
9. Luggage and belongings
- As state rules require, our chauffeurs handle your luggage only with your permission, and are happy to help when you ask.
- Your belongings travel at your own risk. Please check that you have everything before you leave the vehicle. If you leave something behind, contact us and we will do our best to return it.
10. Delays, breakdowns and changes
- We plan for traffic and aim to be on time, but we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside our control.
- If a vehicle breaks down or a chauffeur is delayed, we will arrange another vehicle as soon as possible, which may come from a licensed partner company. When needed, we may change your chauffeur or send a vehicle of the same size or larger.
- If your chauffeur has not arrived at the pickup time, call us right away at (206) 319-9196. If you leave the pickup without telling us, or take another service without our agreement, we cannot refund or pay for that ride.
- We may cancel bookings and give refunds in an emergency, in extreme weather or in other events beyond our control.
11. Book only through Carina Ride
All rides must be booked through Carina Ride on our website, in our app, by phone or by email. Our chauffeurs cannot accept private bookings, and a ride that was not booked with us is not covered by these terms or our insurance.
12. Insurance and liability
Our vehicles are insured for passenger and third-party claims as Washington law requires. Personal belongings are carried at your own risk.
13. Complaints and feedback
We take every complaint seriously. Email or call us with your booking number and as much detail as you can, and we will look into it.
14. Phone calls
We may record calls for quality and training. When we do, we tell you at the start of the call, as Washington law requires.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
